Welcome to St. Francis Ecumenical Catholic Church where ALL ARE WELCOME! Come join us in worship and celebrate our Catholic, Christian identity with the seven Sacraments. We are truly "INCLUSIVE" and hope that our website highlights the wide variety of worship, fellowship and service opportunities available. Weddings
St. Francis offers "ALL Loving Couples" the traditional Catholic Sacrament and setting for your most sacred celebration. Noninclusive circumstances, that are so denied by other churches may prevent couples from celebrating a true catholic marriage ceremony; we here, warmly welcome "All" at Saint Francis, to include also the: divorced, same sex, (LGBTQ).

Isaiah 25:6-10 Philippians 4:12-14 Matthew 22:1-14
The 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time reminds us that God invites everyone to share in His joy. The readings speak of abundance, welcome, and being ready to take part in what God offers. Like a great feast, His love is open to all, but we must come prepared to receive it. Isaiah tells of a feast where sorrow and death are gone. God gathers all nations and wipes away tears. It is a picture of hope and comfort. This connects with the Gospel, where Jesus speaks of a wedding banquet that welcomes anyone willing to come. Paul, in the second reading, teaches that strength and peace come from trusting Christ in every situation. Whether we have plenty or little, God provides what we need. The 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time Year A reminds us that God’s care never fails. He calls each of us to accept His invitation and live with thankful hearts. God welcomes everyone to His feast. He provides comfort, strength, and hope.
Challenge: Trust God in both plenty and need. Respond to His call with faith. Live in a way that shows you are ready.
Action Step: Welcome someone who feels left out this week.

Michael Zolfo, nephew of Julia Zolfo, who will be having a kidney removed in mid-October. Prayers for healing, comfort and a full recovery. 9/27
Tina Fioretti, daughter-in-law of Julia Zolfo, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Prayers for healing, comfort and a full recovery. 9/27
Chuck and Irene Lester who have both been moved to a nursing home & into hospice care. Prayers of serenity, peace and comfort for both of them. 10/11
Colleen Brown, friend of Celebrate Outreach, for the loss of her husband Alan, and the loss of thousands of $ in pet store supplies due to power loss. 9/27
William Brower, who had foot surgery a few weeks ago and is doing better. Prayers of healing and comfort for him and a return to good health. 10/11
Rev O’Brien has had ankle surgery. Prayers of healing, peace, and comfort for her and return to full health very soon. 9/20
Rolland "Rollie" Griner, Sonny's Dad who was laid to rest this week. For the repose of his soul and for peace and comfort his family, we pray. 9/13
Kelvin Muncy, who is continuing to deal with lung issues and difficulty breathing. Prayers of healing and comfort for him and a return to full health. 9/13
Jerome Heavey, an out-of-town member who began chemo for Lymphoma. Prayers for healing, peace & comfort for him and for Helen. 9/20
Nancy Hull, Deb Imbach’s Mom who passed away last week. Prayers of peace and comfort, for Deb, DJ and their family. May she rest in peace. 8/30
Tom, a contact via Celebrate Outreach, who is undergoing dialysis and a cancer diagnosis, currently unable to locate. Prayers for safety and wellbeing. 8/23
John Kowalski, son of Kathy Holmes, is showing improvement with his back condition and chronic pain. Prayers of healing and comfort for him. 8/30
Irene McDade, a relative of Kevin Curtis. She was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Prayers of healing and comfort for her and her family. 7/19
For Cindy Czarnik-Neimeyer, who had breast cancer and is undergoing radiation. She is facing foot surgery next month. Healing prayers for her. 8/23
Kevin Curtis, who is now home from rehab. Prayers for healing and comfort as he makes the necessary decisions for his care going forward. 7/12
Frank Zolfo, Jr, nephew of Julia Zolfo, has had additional surgery for brain cancer and is doing well. Continued prayers of healing & comfort for him. 8/2
Julia Zolfo, who is experiencing and dealing with multiple medical issues right now. Prayers for healing, comfort, and a return to good health. 5/17
Fr. Tom Wilt, who is now in long term care and in the earliest stages of Hospice care. Prayers for peace, healing, and comfort for he & Marge 5/17
Darek, a friend of St. Francis who had additional surgery. Continued prayers for peace and comfort for him and a return to good health. 8/30
Miranda Plimpton, niece of Linda & Steve Kuhn, who is dealing with metastatic breast cancer. Prayers for healing, comfort and a return to full health. 7/27

If you wish to donate to the IFP, here is a list of items that are needed at this time.
Cereal - the food pantry does not buy cereal, so donations are important.
Other Items:
Soup (not broth), Ramen Noodles, Tuna (cans), Meat (stew, Spam, ham, chicken, etc.), Fruit (cans), Vegetables (cans), Pork & Beans (Baked Beans), Instant Oatmeal (indiv. pkgs), Breakfast Bars, Chef Boyardee, Manwich, Hash, Chili Spaghetti or Pasta (boxes), Spaghetti Sauce (Pasta Sauce), Pudding & Jello (small boxes), Peanut Butter Jelly/Jam (no glass), White Potatoes (cans or pkgs), Coffee-ground (no K-cups or flavors), Plain White Rice (not Minute), Mac & Cheese, Cereal (boxes), Black Beans, Misc. Beans (not dry), Tomatoes (Diced, Sauce, Paste), Tea Bags (not Family Size or Iced Tea), Crackers (in sleeves) Brownie Mix, Stuffing, Gravy (cans).
